I dunno, take 2M off the top, you're only stuck with him for two years. Just a thought.

Lindy is safe for 2 seasons
KA has probably done everything terry has wanted of him. Winning isn’t really a priority. (Sadly)
I really think Adams is safe for at least 2 years , hot start or not. He’s like a son to terry - Boss34

Yeah, if you can get them to retain some, be surprised if he is on Lindy's to get card. |

You really think the Sabres were 100% trying to win last season?
They have been building around a long term plan imo
Hopefully this year is a bit different |

I'd bet Terry at least thought about firing him at the end of the season. Not saying came close, but just considered it.

I’m gonna disagree with you on this one.
I really think Adams is family to the pegulas and the thought hasn’t seriously crossed his mind imo
Pegula is sick of firing coaches and gms |

Does Patrik Laine qualify as a good top 6 add?
He's a bit under ppg past 3 seasons. - TheSabresTaco
injury prone
overpriced
wore out his welcome in two cities
and drug/alcohol/mental issue
maybe on a short deal if bought out but that's it

get back to me in mid july
if they make similar moves to try to limp into the 7th or 8th spot, or if they make moves to ice a team to compete for a cup |

I didn't expect you to agree. I just think it's a routine thing. Disappointing season, do I want to keep going with this GM?
Even if he doesn't care about winning, he certainly cares about attendance. What were they? 28th?

It’s all speculation unless you are in the room.
But like Taco said, Adams for the most part is an open book, and the Mittlelstadt trade being a 1 for 1 trade can lead one to conclude within reasonable doubt that he was only being dealt for a specific return and that he was not being actively shopped as you were insinuating |

Yes I do. It's very easy to see the incompetence that was (or is) in place too.

if they bring the band back together, lets go panthers I guess. They should try to win the offseason. and then win the actual season.

The more years that go by, the more I feel like the Sabres (as an asset) is really all pegula cares about.
The Sabres as a franchise are worth more year after year, expansion team after expansion team.
The yearly losses offset the Buffalo Bills gains imo |

They have around 5 spots to fill and not a single one of our UFAs has any business filling any of them. |
