Actually there was a good inteview with Brent Flahr posted in the Inquier this morning, and Flahr was asked about moving up or down in the draft, and he stated they have had conversations with teams about this. In the end Flahr said the decision to move up or down is typically done at draft time based on which players are selected. I was at least encouraged the Flyers seem to be looking at what options they have to move up.

I was looking at some names. Obviously anyone would need to be a one year deal and I can move him at the TDL.

I thought of these guys as maybe someone this works for:

Chandler Stephenson
Yakov Trenin
Tomas Nosek
Anthony Maanta


But this also would need to go with moving on from players like Laughton. Sending Deslauriers and Atkinson to Lehigh.

Also the deals would need to be deals that can be moved at the TDL.

It was 20 years ago that Torts won his Cup with an All star roster in a league with no salary cap. Since then he's won five playoff series. Is that mainly his fault, or the fault of hundreds of different players across five teams?
