Exactly. Even Carolina paid 3M for Chatfield now. Sad fact players are going to get paid that are sought after. Canucks can only pick one or two to keep within rising market.

Then maybe look for bargains with lower profile players. That is after other teams have blown their loads in free agent frenzy.

I guess at this point it’s about trusting the system will make a new player brought in look good.

Vancouver is Awesome, doesn't sound like they have a slant or anything.

The Panthers are going to win a well deserved Stanley Cup, they've been playing some great hockey for several years. I'll be interested to see who they bring back over the summer. Just like the Canucks the next step is very important, is it forward or back?
