My canoe is registered and it has a trolling motor, but I rarely use it anymore. The fiberglass is beat all to hell from years of hitting rocks and bottoming out on shoals. I may retire it and move the motor to one of my tandem kayaks and register it instead. Half of the canoe is held together with Gorilla(tm) brand tape.

Florida is weird about what it chooses to get all Big Brothery about. They are loosey-goosey with guns, but they have red tape fever when it comes to watercraft. Florida has historically been hands-off with most things. They're still one of the only states to not require a motorcycle helmet. But yet, there has been a noticeable trend towards increased regulation in recent years. It's seems arbitrary.

Barkov, about to Captain a team to a Cup, was horrible in the playoffs for his first 9 seasons.

Missed the playoffs 5 out of 9 seasons, only scored 6 playoff goals, 21 playoff points in 26 playoff games.

Only won one series in 9 years.
