Maybe that’s why Washington bought Capfriendly, they knew they were gonna trade for Dubois straight up and didn’t want anyone to look at the numbers

Time was of the essence for #LAKings: Dubois would have total control of his future with a full 'no-move' clause kicking in 12 days from now on July 1.

And if SCF went to Game 7, they would've lost right to buy him out for 1/3rd. This is much better circumstance for Kings

They are literally just trying to get Ovi the record these next couple years. Just surrounding him with talent to make sure it happens. Bit of a joke organization these days.

Who knows. They just need to roster serviceable players to score a reasonable amount of goals for the next 2-3 years with Ovi touching the puck enough.
