Look, none of us wanted Gorton gone, JD either. The goal after the 2021 season was to get tougher and if you don't think Sather and Dolan played a part in who was added, you are blind. Drury added well at the 2022 deadline. Last year would have been fine if they stopped at Tarasenko but the Kane signing was certainly from up above. This year was less so, but I still liked the Wennberg addition.

He is not perfect but don't think he is in a position where his job is on the line, at least not yet

It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Come across condescending and know it all, that's the issue. Look at post-2021 forward, he did make some changes. Firing Gallant was not an easy call. If they fail again, he could be the next man out.

He did push too much and it got him traded, sucks but then his body couldn't handle his type of play much longer.
Still can't figure out the AV's thought process in both Stralman and the shell. Odds are the other team will break through and we saw the results.
