Get ready to either pay big time for someone of Laughton's caliber or hear excuses that prices were too high so they bought low on some Great Value Larry in FA

Not sure what the draft has to do with it. But yes, he made some pretty poopty decisions bringing back a poop bottom six and EJ. Cliffy turned out OK after a slow start on his off side, he's just overpaid. His miss was not getting a couple of decent players who signed cheap deals for a year...they could have been resigned this season instead of begging has-beens to block prospects he is doing now.
Hopefully, he gets canned after another series of blunders this offseason.
