Two weeks left to see if he intends to help Lindy out at all. The buyout window starts when the Cup Final ends and ends 48 hours later, so we'll see about Gerbe's Skinner prediction pretty soon.
Two weeks to give Lindy a real team. The clock starts now - Hank Balling
Horrible move to Buyout Skinner.
Find a way to maximize his production versus handicapping the team for six years.
Dumb, dumb, dumb. |

Not sure what the draft has to do with it. But yes, he made some pretty poopty decisions bringing back a poop bottom six and EJ. Cliffy turned out OK after a slow start on his off side, he's just overpaid. His miss was not getting a couple of decent players who signed cheap deals for a year...they could have been resigned this season instead of begging has-beens to block prospects he is doing now.
Hopefully, he gets canned after another series of blunders this offseason. - IonSabres
Not sure what the draft has to do with it when it's now been reported that 6, 7 and 10 are openly being made available, while the Sabres try to make a deal around the 11th overall? |

Not my favorite idea but that move would be an indication about their intention to spend money elsewhere versus settling for the Teddy Bluegers of the world |

Yeah I agree here, his contract gets a lot different after this year. Owed less in actual money 7mill and then 5mill the last 2 years. Hope he scores 25-30 goals and then retain for next year. Even if they held 50% Pegula is only really paying 6mill of the 18 mill Cap |

A co-op has benefits for its member-owners. He's running this team like a tax write-off |

How many former Sabres are in the Cup Finals, other members are benefiting. Just not the ones in Buffalo |

It is incredible, Sabres have been out of step with the league since Botterill took the job.
Botts loads up on 327 RhD's when their value dropped to lows for those couple of years.
Now their willing to trade their draft pick, and other teams ahead of them make their available again devaluing their asset.
And get some sleep, you seem very edgy lately |

Prime example of the current management is when they took 3 Russians in a row on the 2021 draft because they thought they had an edge in scouting Russia 🤣🤣🤣 |

It’s easy to expose that a raccoon ate 78% of your brain and you’re a literal zombie hiding in a mascot suit. Yet as bad as you are at this, and as moronic as you consistently appear, there is one below you….according to the GM, the roster needs more Girgensons. Adams wins the smoothest brain of them all.
Congratulations.

If, again IF Adams does very little to improve this team and brings back Girgenson he will miss the signals from the fanbase that they are tired, exhausted really of bullpoop moves by this GM to roster another failing team.
The cat calls will grow into a resounding chorus of "Fire Adams" pretty quickly. He will have orchestrated his own departure.
People are literally done with this inept organization. The enthusiasm for Lindy will turn quickly to discontent and consider him a publicity stunt by Pegula...putting lipstick on a pig.
Save your money Terry, no need for a new roof and scoreboard when no fans show up. |

There close lon, atleast I believe that. And Adams has missed his signal for 2 years, atleast back to November of the 1pt season. 3 or 4 decent moves and this Team should be able to Rock. I don't think Adams knows how to do it, or atleast has shown that part of being a GM. I don't mind slow play with some of these prospects, but you also need to know what you have, and we Don't really. We have to many Prospects and Adams is gonna waste resources if he waits much longer. |

Agreed for the most part.
I'd love to see a couple Prospects at F make the roster. They need to earn it though. Can Savoie and Kulich push themselves into the roster? If not, more time in the A won't hurt them.
I am confused by Adams' position. Is he going to fill spots by acquiring g players who block these prospects? Is he going to bring up a couple of prospects and let them learn the NHl on the fly?
He is talking out of both sides of his mouth..like he is leaving himself an opening in the event he is once again, unsuccessful in bringing in suitable players.
What I dislike the most is acquiring middling players and playing them up a level over their competence. When the F do the bring in good players and play them down or at their level to create mismatches?

The holes in the roster cannot be filled by the prospects, who have always been top 6 players. The prospects are backups for the existing players on the roster.
You can't get tougher by adding young, skilled players to fill bottom 6 roles.
Maybe if Quinn gets injured this season, Adams might actually call one of them up.......if they're ready.......

Adams has publicly stated he doesn't care about the noise from the fans, he will not deviate from his plan...until now. It's not his fault the Sabres have missed for 13 years, only 4 of them, aboot to be 5, how many other GM's in the history of the game have had this kind of rope, I'd bet very few.
Why would a GM overpay Adams for anything this season when they can wait for a new GM to come in and clean house next year, when the core players want out?
This situation was visible dating back to the 22' draft. He proudly walked himself into this. |

I spent several wasted minutes trying to justify Girgensons re-signing. We all know what he is, what he does. I guess he's a leader, I guess he plays hard and I guess he tries hard.
K, sign him for 800K to be your 13th forward and get a bottom line who can actually play. Get this ape out of here. |
