Reading the Philly blog.

“John Tortorella is an organizational cancer, the sooner he's gone, the better.”

They don’t see Torts lasting this season.

Another spot where he’s quickly worn out his welcome.

- ImThatGuy

him willing a low talent team to the playoffs (just short) is cancerous? fascinating.

Acquire Rossi and then do Tage and Power for Larkin and Sieder. Sprinkle in Necas and be done with it. Can you say Lord Stanley?

Think there needs to be a shake up to the top 6.

my guess is if skinner is not on waivers by tomorrow, he is not being bought out
- homiedclown

you're not allowed to put him on waivers.

That would be a huge win top 6 wise.

Totally agree.

It's why Savoie and the 11th overall wouldn't be what Minnesota is looking for.

It's why I like the idea of a Buchnevich and Hayes big trade to Buffalo.

- kingcong39

Hayes hasn’t been good in years. The flyers shopped him out due to a bad attitude and he stunk with the blues.

He also can’t skate and is slow. Think Jordan Staal slow

I have no idea but that would be the thought process if they were to move him imo

Good, it should be an easy trade to make then. Larkin has the intangibles. A true 1C

Was Tage not one of the best defensive forwards in the league before injury last year?

Maybe that was just PK? I cannot remember

Hartman makes the most sense, with a little Foligno thrown in, with Rossi being a cost controlled Center for them while navigating their massive dead cap this coming season.
- kingcong39

Yup, tough cap situation for them again.. but then they are free.

Actually, I am surprised Gerbe mentioned Minnie, unless it is strictly to reduce costs this season, and position themselves to come out the other side with assets to rebuild/retool very quickly. Does Hartman get you that? Not as much IMO.
If I were GM, unless forced to, I would bite the bullet this season and keep my very good players.

With this being Fluery's last season, I doubt Bill is looking to move NHL players for prospects/futures.

Unless he has another deal lined up and it's to unload cap.

I also believe Adams gets used by most GM's/agents, they hear his terms and leverage them elsewhere.
