What would you pay if you could only reasonably expect the 2nd best season of his career? 18-20-38

When a 32 year old shoots 60% above his career average, beware.

- Lunaion

Add to that a nearly $5M cap hit for the next 3 seasons.

I’ve looked at Coleman’s stats.

I’d guess 18 goals 35/40 points next season

Hard to argue that Coleman wouldn’t be one of our best bottom 6 players with experience and grit

I especially like his shorthanded ability and plus/minus vs Girgensons

- Boss34

That's fine regarding Coleman.

18 goals, 35 points at a $5M cap hit for the 3rd line is worth the 11th overall?

No sir, no thank you.

As Lunaion said, the idea would be to trade for him at a discount due to his normal production at his cap hit.

I would rather have Ty Dellandrea than the next Mats Lindgren despite Lindgren having a hot mom

Yeah, I might've taken that deal. Then again, we have about 50 of him...need different types and only so many spots.

Goodrow had the Sharks on his NTC so the Rags threw him on waivers to send him there anyway.

Grier doing a solid for his former teammate...?

The Sharks have claimed Barclay Goodrow off waivers from the New York Rangers.

The Rangers are off the hook for the rest of Goodrow's contract, which spans three more seasons at $3,641,667.

There are no favors. Grier wanted him, Goodrow said no and considering he's probably worth a late pick, Drury said (frank) it, just claim him.

Goodrow stinks. He actually makes the sharks worse.

Go back. I played his advanced stats. They were ugly

Your top level teams don't let bad or questionable decisions linger.

Look at Florida and Vegas.

They don't just sit on players because they recently signed them.

They constantly look for opportunities to attack improving the roster.

They are cutthroat, and it works.

- kingcong39

Cutthroat has nothing to do with Clifton / Samuelson or common sense .

Clifton , just signed less than 1 year ago, played well, now the Sabres should cut or trade him?

Very foolish

As for Samuelson, sure his injuries are concerning and Adams may or may not have buyers regret on said contract.

Doubt either gets moved until the gm is removed

That offer gets it done

And gets us into the playoffs

Chances are there is a better player than Ek at 11 but don't want to wait 3-4 years to develop.
