No it is definitely not. PLD is a nightmare on and off the ice.

I think if PLD reverts back to a 60 point player, it won't be a bad contract given his age and the cap rising

If it were Buffalo acquiring him with no retention I'd be kept up at night.

He needs to produce more. Hes got the ability. Good player when he wants to be.

Washington is just the kind of team that can and should take a swing at a player like that. Worse case scenario in Washington hes your 1C and doesn't live up to the 8.5mil. Oh well rebuild coming anyway. Best Case hes your 1C producing like he can and its more of a re-tool for when OV retires.

I disagree. Kid showed the grit in his first year. May not lay someone out but he's definitely gritty.

Time was of the essence for #LAKings: Dubois would have total control of his future with a full 'no-move' clause kicking in 12 days from now on July 1.

And if SCF went to Game 7, they would've lost right to buy him out for 1/3rd. This is much better circumstance for Kings.

Everything I've read says the buyout window starts 48 hours after the series ends (game 7 is 6/24) and ends on the 30th. So that's 4 days of availability unless I'm missing something

Edit:

This guy says the 1/3 buyout amount is tied to age and he was born on the 24th. That's a real weird one.
