Yeah, but there's no shot you remember whatever stream of consciousness that you vomit out all over your keyboard.

PRODUCE!

I do actually agree with that one. It's so bad I've resorted to growing my own peppers.

There's Farmers Markets every Saturday, There's fresh produce around. You just need to go out. And nothing wrong with growing your own Stuff, pretty smart actually.

I think he made a strong case that just getting rid of him helps a lot.

Can any of us seeing Adams be this bottom line oriented, instead of being super happy, player friendly guy?

They have to add a C. If Skinner goes, they almost have to add a middle 6 winger.

If Joker, Girgs, and Skinner are all in the lineup, it'll be a sad day.

- Lunaion

I'd consider it a sad day if more then 1 of the 3 are in the lineup next season.

I honestly think this is a smart GM move. Older GMs would make some excuse “oh he didn’t waive his no trade. He’s staying on our team”

Then send him to Ontario, but I think you're wrong about a buyout. 1 year is a lame excuse for bad decisions and not bringing in a better winger hurt them badly.

Weren't you just complaining about GM's not using all their tools?

To the points above, just got through the Skinner talk on Baker and Fairburn.

I don't agree with Matt about the Skinner buyout idea being a good one.

If the Sabres were a highly competent organization, then a buyout makes sense, but they're not.

We know they're not a cap limit team.

All a buyout would mean is their effective internal cap limit drops that much further each season of the buyout, especially the 25-26 and 26-27 seasons.

I also look at it as tagging on Skinner's dead cap hit to any top 6 addition they make.

Buchnevich, Ehlers, Konecny etc. cost that much more against the cap when adding $4M, $6M, $2M and $2M to their contracts.

The only way it makes sense to me is if they truly believe the end of last season is the cliff Skinner is falling off from, and it's only going to get worse.

I might be done if Girgensons is brought back. His Aura needs to Leave.
- Buff36

If okposo or girglesons plays for this team next year I am now a Florida Panthers fan.

Nothing about this core, team, or future inspires any confidence in me at all. Management and coaching sucked so bad and the owner is to blame for it all.

Just saying.

I, for one, love spending hundreds of dollars to grow a few heads of lettuce, some peppers, and tomatoes which no one in my family eats so I can attract rabbits to my backyard to feast and just go to the store anyways.

Growing your own sounds good in theory but is actually a total waste of $ unless you need a new hobby.

I think it's Lindy saying Skinner isn't a fit for his team. That simple.

If you think they'll continue to be a budget team, they are paying Skinner less money and over a longer period and they weren't going to use all their cap anyways.

If you think their spending will increase and keep up with the cap, it's a little tougher to handle.

Wake th F up. All this team does is make shiddy decisions and f with the little guy to sell nachos to losers who still think Rhett was an Allstar and that any lineup we have had since 89 and 16 were a thing was actually good.

Sorry. I am pissed bc No fing Goal was 25 yrs tonight and I remember telling my gf future wife about my love for this (frank)ing team and that our players suck on other teams and magically become pretty decent on our team and Hasek is a god amongst men. And I got some that night, came back from the drive in, and watched OT2 and OT3 before being absolutely defeated as a human being.

No f ing goal and of course the Sabres just let it happened and didn’t protest or anything. No big deal there is always next year.

25 years later and our biggest story was getting rid of the goat head and getting slugs or getting damp and wet looking original uniforms
Tage Thhompson, while a pleasant story, ain’t the man.

Tuch I love but he ain’t a superstar.

Skinner is a good story but he doesn’t have the It factor.

Dahlin is ok. But elite? I dunno.
Power. Nope.

This whole (frank)ing team is bulls hit and the sooner we realize this the better. Owner is a complete (frank)ing idiot who got with by lick and is still an idiot. Can’t even hire a non-yes a. Or a no. Man to say hey Trey, you have no balls and are pretty stupid. Stop playing fantasy hockey and bring in a guy who played the (frank)ing game at elite levels and knows when to turn on the air conditioner St. the (frank)ing practice facility during 98% humidity in July beside lake (frank)ing Erie.

And you know what fellas, I would do the same and pretend that I was this smart hockey guy while letting a real hockey guy pull the switches behind the great Oz facade.

Holy poop you made money pumping oil out do Pennsylvania shale? You must be a (frank)ing genius!

Meanwhile every hockey fan knows you suck’s t life and hockey and you playing a shottyy arena with (frank)ed up nachos and poopty salt bums with roast beef on them

Go to any hockey arena or even a London knights game and you will thin the Sabres suck and you only follow them checuse you come from upstate BY or went there for your first NHL game.

They stink and there is no (frank)ing way they make the playoffs with this poop roster.

Tkachuk will slap you nuts and calll you Betty and because you a a Marilyn Manson Richard Tucker that has skills but no wills.

Could be re: Lindy, and we've already seen that Adams number one goal is making everyone happy.

If they're still a budget team and they buyout Skinner, it means the replacement for him will either be a cheap option via trade/FA, or one of the prospects.

They'd save 7.5m cash this year. Could do a lot with that.
