Farabee does nothing to move any needle here. Especially if he's just a skinner replacement... your just getting a cheaper worse Skinner.

Per Flyer fans, Torts had a big, negative impact on him and is a big part of why they want him gone. Apparently he was doing well but Torts felt he was dogging it on a few shifts and dropped him in the lineup, as well as his minutes. I believe he had 2 games over 16mins in the final 10 games of the season when they were pushing for playoffs.

Apparently he was doing well but Torts felt he was dogging it on a few shifts and dropped him in the lineup, as well as his minutes. I have read about the Flyers interest in Krebs and perhaps he’s involved. Would be weird though since he’s good buddies with the guy they just traded for (Byram)

Yeah I just don't know Foerster. I'll take your word on it. I'm more excited about Farabee than most and think he'd be a good fit. As Taco said, there are certainly higher echelon targets I'd hope for, but if a guy like Ehlers isn't going to happen...Farabee isn't a bad consolation prize and a big upgrade to our middle 6 vs the guys we've been forcing in there with the kids (ex: Greenway).

These are the guys we should be going after, in no particular order. Farabee is amongst these, but nowhere near the top of the mark. Then again, due to his cap hit, he isn't unattractive. Some of those extensions that are pending are pretty scary.
