2 players in Sabres org that Hamilton has been talking up quite a bit are Wahlberg (center) and Komarov (defenceman). Komarov is a right shot. Both are big kids and wouldn't be surprised if they're prospects other teams are interested in. Sabres need to keep all the big kids they can though.

Sabres need to shake up the top 6. You search the internet for Sabres trade rumors and you see all these articles of writers talking about Sabres are poised to make a blockbuster trade and have the ammo to do it. These articles date back to March. I think we see Tage, Cozens, Quinn or Benson going if they make a blockbuster of a trade.

Tage probably fetches you the most value.

I think Cozens checks the boxes for how they've been talked about wanting to play so wouldn't want to see him go. I can't understand why he had such a bad year and for being lazy.

I was the only one that wanted the Sabres to draft Quinn (fortunate for some, unlucky for others, the archive doesn't lie) and called it so OF COURSE I would hate to see him go.

Benson has promise, but another tiny player.

I think it is foolish to think the tinies in the top 6 are just going to be able to play a tougher game because Lindy is the coach. There needs to be a shakeup. There needs to be a shakeup regardless. Bringing in one tough player to do all the dirty work isn't changing their soft as the twinkie fillin playin the villain culture.

I think he is going to overpay and get meh players.. nothing to jump up and down for.
Overall, my gut tells me it will be underwhelming, more assets out than should be and will have blocked remaining assets.
I don't have too much faith in him, and certainly don't trust the Professional Player evaluations.

Hope you're wrong lol, he's exactly what we need. I'm not a fan of either of those forwards, Sennecke is more intriguing to me, but if it's them I hope we trade out or back tbh. Think they're 18-25OA in a decent draft.

He's awful defensively but Max Domi would be a decent insurance policy down the middle. They could always use him as an offensive 2C and put Cozens in more of a shutdown role. Or slot him at 2LW with Cozens and shift him to center if need be. I hope they don't just get some Adam Mair guy who will look ridiculous if he has to slot higher in the lineup due to injury

Sabres definitely need guys who are tougher to play against, tage seems like he holds his own , with his size and kinda toughness
