I have a sneaky suspicion that they're going to draft Beckett Sennecke. Just a hunch.

My guess is Lindstrom

Meh ... let the scouts do their job.
One way or another, we'll get a good player.

it's not like last year and this year draft will save the Habs this up coming season, takes a while for those players to develop and mature.

Yes some players might be healthy but unless HuGo make significant changes, I agree, we can expect another 5-10 pick next season.

and I say they draft one of Halfgod or Lindstrom

Dach or no Dach makes a big difference, but I still think our GM should go out to get his B plan. Right now the B plan is Newhook...

I like Dach but he has to prove he can sustain a full season...

thats why I talk about a B plan. They need a C to play after Suzuki, they had one line last season (Caufield, Suzuki, Slaf).

I'm cautiously confident about Dach.

I don't doubt his abilities one bit. He looked amazing last camp.

His injuries are different everytime so maybe he's just unlucky as hell.

But you're right, we need to see him play a full season.

If they opt to keep Dvorak until the TDL...they will run with this at center IMO

Suzuki
Dach
Newhook
Dvo
Evans

when all healthy, Newhook moves to the wing

Losing Dach so early really (frank)ed us up last season ... Anderson looked totally lost without him.

The prior year, those 2 kinda clicked together ... Anderson can't be worse than last year. Can he?

I feel like they will try to add a top 6 player for sure, assuming we do have the cap space to pull it off. Not a lot of prospects on offense pushing for a spot, other than maybe Roy and Beck.

I suspect he's gonna need some time in Laval ... who knows, he might surprise everyone at training camp.

from what Hughes keeps saying, many of the young guys will head to Laval to develop unless there are injuries, look at Mailloux last year.

Mailloux was not a surprise for me last season, defensemen take longer to develop and they already had 4 or 5 kids on the blueline with the big team (Wifi, Ghule, Harris, Barron and Kovacevic with not much NHL experience).

Team gave up a lot of goals last season, they will have to improve in that area to do better in the standings. If not, I see another top 5 pick, yes.

and until Anderson, Gallagher, Savard, Dvo and Armia are still around, there are limited spots available anyway. It takes time to make some space. The last 3 will be gone by next summer for sure unless they are extended.
