Lehkonen is now legit top 6, Newhook still has the potential to play on a 2nd line, the habs overpaid for Dvorak. - Pat1993
so Dvorak who was playing top6 in ARZ is a top6 player?
cool ![:)](https://hbcf.s3.amazonaws.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif)
what I mean is that Dvorak is a 3rd line player (talent wise). just like Lek, who is lucky to be in COL. he's a complememt player. Newhook we'll see. I still think that on a contender he's a 3rd line guy, ready to move up in case of injuries. |

he isn't just lucky, he's actually good enough to be putting up the numbers, come on lol.
and yeah Bergevin was banking on "Dee-vo" to be putting up better numbers if he was on a better team, but that obviously flopped. it was a poop trade and you know it, which is kinda weird because I'm usually the one defending Bergefail lolol

I'm not really defending him, I just think he paid the price 3rd liners with term usually go for. no more no less. should he have passed on that trade? absolutely! the time was good to rebuild, not give picks away.
Gallagher played on our 1st line for years, does that make him a legit 1st line player? (talent wise)
same goes for Lek in COL. imho |

you cant have only 8,5 millions guys on your top 6 with the cap. Lehkonen is not a third liner, thats it |

I would argue that at his peak, yes, he was a legit top-line player, it's just that his peak didn't last all that long lol. anyway I don't really agree with how you're assessing the price for a third-line player but it's all good.

It was management by the seat of his pants during his tenure ... zero long time planning. He didn't draft or develop any players in Laval who could have come to help.
Anyway, we've gone over this before ... I'm just happy they fired his ass. |
