Believe the Ottawa Senators and Philadelphia Flyers have the framework of a trade in place as well, though this one may go closer to the Draft.

Imagine looking down that contract, on July 1 when his No Trade clause kicks in, and being like... we are (frank)ed.

They were looking for someone to take over the reigns from Kopitar, but a healthy young PLD could not even beat out Danault for the #2 center spot.

Anyways, was always glad the Habs stayed clear, especially when he got the $8.5M cap hit.
