Lol DsD ..we will see , if they are set on EP , we need a winger that can maximize his play , and with a solid veteran D core , combined with the teams commitment to structure a young goalie on a cheap contract could be just fine .
- onesmallleap

No Silovs is not fine. The team is looking for a veteran to backup Demko

Jarrey apparently on the block , it's a prime goalie year , move when value is high .

Dude, that contract ends in 2032. It might be a little steep now, but it should absolutely become a bargain.
- golfingsince

I am glad you think a 2nd line centre/1st line winger is going to eventually be worth that massive contract.
Signing a contract basing it on speculation that the cap is going to go up by 4 million per season is very Jim Benningesque.
Not sure if you remember how that cap hell worked out.

Purely because it’s amusing how annoyed you always are, I hope they prioritize the smallest and shiftiest players on July 1st. Nobody over 5’10

I'm just waiting for Nighty's draft list for all 32 clubs in order. If he can count to 32 that is...

Less Russians the better.

It's starting to look that way. The Mikheyev drama didn't help either.

I Think Allvin is moving on from Milstein due to their lack of success.

If Guentzel doesn't pan out, why not take a shot at Stamkos? He's going to market too and would make an excellent 2C/1W

He's slow now but can still rip it. I think term on these guys is gonna be the issue. Canucks have a ton of cap room. If they miss on JG honestly just sit tight and find value on short term deals. Is it me or is Sean Monahan getting massively over looked here

Congrats Hughes. Never doubted the kid for a single minute.

Love that the Josh/Blue/Gars line is intact. Well done management.

Canucks have to do what ever it takes to find a winger for Petey and that contract or move on. If they can't meet the acquisition priority, they are wasting massive cap space.

Mikky gone early is great news. I'll give them a pass for their screw up which isn't simply a case of him not living up to expectations but also the terrible decision to play him all that time after his injury. The whole reason he missed the preseason and limped into camp was because of that. I'll leave that in the past if they don't (frank) around with injuries like that anymore in the regular season.

Hope you guys are having a good early summer. It's been a terrible June up here. We even had snow a couple of weeks ago. Fishing has been decent none the less.

Thankfully the Canucks aren’t interested. Makes Boeser look fast and has no clue in his own end.

The cap is a safe bet going up. It matters on who is signed at value for long term. No to Guentzel imo. Idk who PA likes but like Z to come back if he doesn’t like offers.
