This feels like the perfect opportunity for Canuck and Oiler fans to set aside our differences and come together to cheer a Canadian team to the ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup.
Too long has the Cup been won by an American team. For 31 years we've been waiting to bring the Cup home.

Mcward and Karlason resigned.
Alvin keeping busy.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announces that the #Canucks have agreed to terms with forward Linus Karlsson and defenceman Cole McWard on one-year, two-way contracts.
Quinn Quest - Thanks for keeping the blogs going NYN. Oilers in SCF and barely a peep over there.
Yes Canuck plan very business like getting things done the right way. Agree looks like Z and Myers are next. Then they’ll look into forwards. Might be able to pull off Guentzal.
This management group has proven they get things done and don’t succumb to pressures.
How? It makes no sense - I heard some estimates are he'll get between 9-11X8 thats insane! Huge mistake given his position and typical downtrend in play at that age. Anchor contract that would disable any other significant moves that must be made this offseason. Great player that would fit in but gotta let some other GM make that mistake.
I don't think we need to lock up a winger - long term.
Lots of other options with potential lower cap/term - Mantha, Teravainen, Marchessault, Toffoli, DeBrusk, Duclair, Arvidson - I bet Olefson could return to form with a change of scenery. - Brooks_Light
Canuck management disagrees with you. Having an elite winger is the missing piece now.

Like the majority of Flames fans many of the mental midgets in here can't bring themselves to cheer for ANY CDN team let alone their own Canucks or the Oil in the finals. The vast majority cheer against Van and whatever MNGT team is in office lol. The flip flopping is astounding haha.
A cup in Canada is exactly what we need getting on board with the Oil is no problem!!

30 years in Canada without a cup and you can't bring yourself to cheer for a CDN team? Now you just sound dumb...

Who cares who wins the Cup? We don't have one, until we do, I'd rather anyone else but Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto or Montreal win one before us. Hell, I'll take Winnipeg and Ottawa over teams that have won multiple Cups before. That said, I don't see Edmonton pulling out the complete reversal. McDavid probably breaks Gretzky's scoring record, but doesn't get his Cup while doing so. And yes, I do think it'll go 7.

Yeah, if there's a new team name on the cup it puts more pressure on Aquilini. I would have loved Dallas to win the cup so Gaglardi could stick it in Aquilini's face.

Pressure for what, like what are they not doing money wise? How does that benefit Canucks?
Hating the owner sure whatever he’s a douche. Though can separate that from wanting Canucks to win the Cup.
