He gets the value he wants, adds extra 53 man roster rookies to an expensive roster and stays competitive. It's what good GMs do.

He bought a new starting CB in a trade for a 3rd and got a 3rd right back for moving back 4 spots at the end of the round.

It depends on who is available and I read Necas trade probably won't be made until Carolina knows the player is available when the team they're trading with is on the clock. It could matter A LOT.
