I am actually kind of hoping that we keep the pick and trade a few of the kids instead. I like the idea of staggering the pipeline a bit.

I believe they are also moving towards an NFL-style event? I won't miss seeing billionaires and their kids make the slow march to the podium.

I know it seems like we disagree constantly so I promise i'm not doing it on purpose but..

Why choose to trade guys you've spent time and work in developing over an asset you have no ties to and doesn't have a name yet.

The Sabres are also primed to whiff on a pick at some point soon.

No, that's a good question. I am 100% fine with trading the pick, and I won't blink if they do one or the other (as long as he does what needs to be done).

But there is some rationale for keeping it:

- Diversify our pool a little bit
- Stagger the timelines
- My own personal entertainment

And much of my desire for wanting them to keep it is (selfishly) #3.
Really, I am fine if they move it.

decentralized.

Prospects go up alone, give Bettman a bro hug.

Most families stay home.

no giant photo ops with 15 (frank)ing people and their (frank)ing kids.

IMO, it is smarter to trade the redundant prospects that the 11-OA. Not sure why anyone wouldn't agree with this when they think clearly bout the points you made.

I said this a couple weeks ago, and was mocked by a few on here. So be it .. many have converted to my thought before you ... You are in fine company.

So Pesce and Carolina look to be parting Ways, and guess Ullmark won't waive for Ottawa without a extension hammered out.

All Adams moves are dependent on Girgs resigning.

There just happens to be a prospect available that would break that mold.

Well, no, it isn't good or bad drafting. Get good players and the rest can be figured out later. After all, most players don't make the league so you can't draft on need. If you did, we probably wouldn't draft Kulich at 28.

Certainly the contrarian perspective

Carolina should have moved him last offseason. That's an expensive asset to waste.

Think that may be getting close. Even some talks the Pens want him back.
