The Nashville Predators have received numerous calls on goalie Yaroslav Askarov in the last 24 hours in the wake of the Juuse Saros extension news. The Preds are willing to move him but have set a high price they feel is warranted. Nashville would like to move into the top 5 of the first round tonight via an Askarov trade. So far there hasn’t been a fit. But the Preds will keep talking to teams.

Ah, thanks, I appreciate the explanation. That bums me out, but if it is just him, hopefully the other two on the 4th line will balance him out. I don't love the idea of Krebs at 4C, but he does have bite and he did play some of his best hockey for us there. If the 4th line is Krebs and Girgs, they damn well better get someone like Carrier on the other wing. Either way, that should be the easiest spot to fill.

When can we be a real NHL franchise again? Krebs is not an NHL player. When you score 4 goals, and Adam Mair once scored 8, you really can't be in this league.

The fourth line should be Greenway + 2 new faces.
