Sabres seemed to have a very good draft which is of course totally meaningless.

And no free agent is coming here, unless it's mid July, he has very limited options, and we overpay.

I heard that mentioned somewhere else, too, about being close to home. Just find it hard to believe that he'd pick the Sabres for anything other than using them to drive up his contract with other teams.
