I think they bridge Quinn if he doesn't freak out this year/stay healthy.

Jeff Skinner in a vacuum at 27 was a good as well as necessary signing.

It's too bad he was paid 2M more than he should have been. But he gave us some good years, and also Ralph Kreuger was here.

It was a horrible signing. It wasn't the salary, it was the term. Said it the day it was signed that in a few years it would be an albatross on the cap and would need to be bought out. Right when things would be turning around. It should have been a 3 year deal. If he said no he should of instantly been traded

2 years from now they will save 2.6 mil from buying him out and of course have a top 6 winger slot to fill

the better play would be to get his numbers up this season and trading him over the summer

Yeah, that's why the Quinn one makes sense to me anyways. Peterka has proven to be a gamer, same as Jack, but he's been healthy. Safer investment. Byram I think really just depends on this year, which is equally scary.
