I wouldn't complain if the devils picked up necas as long as the contract wasn't crazy and still allows devil's to go after pesce

Devil's get markstrom necas and pesce and maybe some depth without losing anyone major would be a very successful off-season

Why would they trade assets AND ink a 7 ($7.5m) or 8 ($8.8m) deal ...for the same production last year (Skinners down year). Better zone entries?

It didn’t and those teams got screwed.

Then Covid happened. The salary cap stayed flat for 2-3 years

So yes we overpaid by 2 mill. But that was due to bad circumstances
