I'm making this up but it genuinely seems like he spends hours of Conversations™️ with a team about a player, and then when he gets close to a deal, he asks, "o btw does he have a NTC" and they say "Oh yeah, and you're on it" and then he says aw shucks and starts a new set of conversations.

Remember when Terry gassed up the Pegulacopter to convince Robyn Regehr to come here? That seems like 400 years ago. Now they just say, "well, what can ya do" and move on to a different conversation

The aw shucks used car salesman vibe in his media scrum was overwhelming. Almost sounded annoyed when he mentioned how he has had conversations with every team you could imagine. Like 'see we're trying' annoyed

Maybe I just don't like his style but what is the point of repeatedly announcing how much you're shopping for this or ok with moving that. To me it just makes you look weak the same way repeatedly saying how much players don't want to be here

I forgot about the regehr extravaganza lol wow that memory in that time sure hits differently now

I do think Gerbe is at least somewhat plugged in and he may be right that Lindy is cooking so I will save the real female doging for Tuesday. Adams is lost. I have faith in Lindy
