Yeah, McDavid having arguably the best postseason of all time is pretty boring. - jfkst1
The question was finals, not postseason.

McDavid is the first player to put up 4 pts. in back to back SCF games. Again, this level of dominance is amazing. |

Looks like no one's allowed to mention the Ullmark trade? |

Agree its a very good accomplishment but it hasn't been on the edge of your seat hockey. I would rather have watched 6 very close nail biters instead of the few blow outs. just my opinion. |

Well. If the Stanley Cup was decided by how much the ESPN announcers were verbally fellating someone every five seconds, the Oilers would have had this locked up. Unfortunately, that isn’t how it’s decided. Enjoy those individual accolades, doesn’t mean anything next to winning the Cup! |

Florida Panthers, 2023-24 Stanley Cup Champions. And McDavid went through the handshake line in complete total shock. Like he couldn't believe he couldn't beat the Panthers after the last 3 games. |

It was certainly entertaining. I'm gonna go with the 09 Finals though. |

i am no SCF historian. But none of the games were all that memorable...sure the oil/mcd comeback was great theatre but the panthers went complacent got out of their game and just missed choking this series away.
The packed it in defensively the last 10 minutes and escaped giving up the tying goal numerous times by the blade of their skates. Panthers got the bounces as a game Oiler team pressed. It looked like the oiler big 3 played 5 or 6 minutes of the final 10 minutes with bouchard and just ran out gas. |

Five finals series that I think were better than this one:
Montreal vs Chicago 1971
Philly vs Edmonton 1987
Montreal vs Calgary 1989
Rangers vs Vancouver 1994
Colorado vs New Jersey 2001 - BiggE

That 1971 series was painful. Hawks up 3 gmes -2, Habs win at home and G7 in the ole stadium and then lemaire from center ice happens...hull hits the crossbar and they lose.
