That's a brain dead mindset. McDavid had the best postseason in the cap era and carried his team. Florida is a much deeper team, but they have no defined superstar that is arguably the best in the league at their own position. And it showed in the postseason as no individual on roster was elite.

We can agree to disagree, but I believe a player on the losing team should NEVER win the Conn Smyth. Same bull$hit when Giguere won it over Brodeur.
JSG = 1.62 GAA / .945 through 4 rounds / 15 wins
MB = 1.65 GAA / .934 through 4 rounds / 16 wins
So maybe JSS was just slightly better over the 4 rounds. However, Brodeur's team won the cup and he had 3 SO's against ANA to JSS's 1 SO.
