Weber is not a first ballot hall of famer. I love JR but is he better the Mogilny or Tkachuk, who should be in. How is Campbell a builder? Mogilny not being in is pure garbage |

I'm not sure you're hearing me though. It doesn't really matter if we have an old Kane or not. - t-dawg
No I hear ya. I’m in solitary on this for the most part, except with Brukie
I just think he’s the easiest and most logical addition. Whether people like it or not is irrelevant lol
If he took a one year deal (which is probably unlikely) for 5 million bucks it’s a perfect for fit for the top 6. Then 25–26 season either Othmann or Perrault enter that spot. We kinda need to be careful signing a long term player there imo
It’s unfinished business for both parties as has been speculated |

Combination of that plus we do not have defensemen that can move the puck well or suppress shots well either. Add in fwds who do not want to forecheck but rely only on skill you get an avg 5v5 team and not a great one |

Doesn't a player need to be retired for three or five years? Even if three, that takes you to the end of the Covid-shortened seasons. I thought if he (Weber) retired then, there would be a mammoth cap recapture on a few teams. I must have missed something here... |

The biggest problems on this team to me
Zibs contract
Troubas contract
5 v 5 play
Since you can’t get rid of zib, Troubas contract has to go so you can make the necessary moves to get better 5 v 5 |

The mid season trade deadline should be about adding depth for a playoff run. The last few years it’s been about Drury trying to fix the top 6 lol. Need to take care of that now in the summer |

The fwds frustrate me the most, mostly panarin mika kreider. Very one dimensional. Need to adapt more in PO |

Yea he’s definitely dropped the ball a bit. Cap restraints have something to do with it but he didn’t show much urgency this season |

I immediately thought maybe Trouba going there but Walman is LH so not sure that makes it more likely or not
It is an curious/odd move for them since they need defensemen (according to their fans) |

I'm so out on him after his public exit interview where he told the press "What I would like to see on my line is a passer. Somebody to get me and Kreider the puck. We're both shooters', so it'll be nice to have that kind of guy with us."
I was like mother(frank)er, you're the number center. That's part of you job. |

Yea when you make 8.5 million a year you need to be the one driving play. It’s hard for me to have faith in Zib. He has proven now in 3 straight playoff years he isn’t good enough to go up against other teams top centers. But we are stuck with him. So have to hope he figures something out. Maybe a better RW helps a little |

Listen in 2022 he had 24 points in 20 games. That's good. I'll take that. This year and vs the Devils? Dog poop. I'm very much out on him. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but when when this team needed him, he disappeared. |

I think I just mostly remember him getting shut down in the ECF vs Cerelli. I’ll give him more credit for the rest of the 2022 playoffs. But yea last 2 years making the big money, just not good |

I remember someone raving about him on Sirius. Can’t remember who but they loved the guy. It was probably a Wings beat writer
Maybe they’re going for chychrun or something. You’d figure they have to have someone in mind. Maybe its Lindgren 😱 which would please most people |

This is my honest opinion on Zib. He had a bad year. Ain’t denying it and he fought the puck all season it seemed like. Whether his shooting was off, or just making the wrong play a lot of times. But the RWs he had suck. They weren’t at his level of skill or play, or aren’t capable of playing at that level. It’s clear the team realizes what I’m saying and hopefully addresses it with whoever that may be. It’s not a position they can band aid like they did this year (1RW). We know what he’s capable of because we’ve seen him dominate at times when he’s right, over the years. I’ll be the fair one lol and judge him when he gets a first line RW, til then I give him a pass. He’s arguably the best PKer in the NHL, which should mean something around here yet it means very little
Players have bad years and he is no different. His career playoff numbers are not terrible either, 73 games with 63 pts |

Whether you like him or are done with him the reality is he is a ranger for a long time. So rangers have to figure out the best way to get him going again |
