Especially when they will have four (Tippett, Foerster, Farabee, Michkov) wingers that are or will be top six wingers next year.
TK is the best asset they have. They need to trade him. |

Personally, I would take Zito over DB/Jones/Tortorella trio AIAEC
Also, how could you say anything good about Fletcher as a GM - truly and utterly abysmal |

9.5 for a player who has never scored 70 points and is on the beginning of the downslope of his prime is insane. - MBFlyerfan
Not to mention he’s been hurt the past two seasons |

How long did it take for the Couturier contract to go bad? |

while I agree, TK has also played on lousy Flyer teams since he hit the NHL.

I know most of us want Konecny moved. Laughton also should be moved. There are reports of multiple teams having interest.
Briere should be working the phones today

Sounds like Gauthier in terms of clearly being a winger but everyone trying to make him a center. - Schmojo
Exactly. My worry is looking at a guy’s production in one position and assuming it will translate to another. Iginla was kind of a mid to late round prospect on a lot of people’s boards before he took off on the wing. I think taking him at 12 or even moving up to take him with the intention to move him to Center is a big risk.
I was wrong about Cutter tho and felt the Flyers made a big reach drafting him where they did so who knows. |

even more of a reason to move him, all he knows is losing. |

I’m open to Farabee being moved because I never thought he was worthy of his deal but Bee is still young at least and TK’s value has never been higher. |

For sure. All Briere is to Torts is an AI GM. Torts is the prompter.
No hard decisions yet for coGM. They may think long and hard about TK but will ultimately go path of least resistance and resign. |

Konecny needs to go, we are not in a winning phase and he has tremendous value the team needs to capitalize on. If the Flyers can somehow get their hands on Tig Iginla and develop him as a center, that’d be a huge win for the organization. |

You can’t get lost in the past, he’s one of the youngest kids in the draft and his upside is huge. |

I think Tij is more of a wing in the NHL. Even if they tried to move him to the pivot he is gonna need to get a lot better on the defensive side. Love his upside but if they are dead set on grabbing a center Catton makes more sense. |

McKenzie's final top 10 rankings. Interesting, Iginla @ 10. Not sure the Flyers can afford to pass on Catton @ 12. Think scouts are over thinking him. - Trox88
NHL scouts just can't resist overrating toolsy dmen w/ low hockey sense/offensive upside...

So if a team makes a good offer for Bee and Danny trades him, it is Torts fault?
Or Danny see a chance to pick up another first or move up in the draft and it involves moving Bee, it is Torts fault?

what part of no issue moving him in a good deal did you struggle with?
I would venture to guess the league knows joel isn't a torts guy. do you think that his value takes a hit at all because of the coach?

You tell us. According to you, the organization is being ran by Torts. |
