Is there something with the 36th pick going on? Wiki says CBJ owns it but people on social media are saying they haven’t decided on sending it to Philly or not yet?

Condition is they have to decide after the first round is complete whether they send that pick or next years 2nd rounder to the Flyers. I think most people expect them to keep the pick and send next years.

Appleyard is pretty impartial when evaluating prospects or trades. Pretty interesting analysis.

My evaluation of that chart, I wouldn't make the trade in retrospect for none except Makar. Makar is no question an outliner here because he became a much better player than what his draft position was.

Tkachuk sounds like a great deal, but I'm not giving up Dobson and Samuelsson for him.

Think about it, the Flyers want a 1st each for TK, Laughton and maybe Farabee, but they have to pay THREE 1sts for a player with "potential". Only time you are giving up 3+ 1st for a draft pick is if that player is above the rest of the class (like McDavid, Stamkos, Dahlin).

If that trade proposal was for Celebrini then I'd do it, otherwise that goes down as an incompetent GM.

Columbus has to decide whether they give this year's 2nd after the 1st round ends. If they keep it then Flyers get Columbus's 2nd next year.
