I also give him credit for helping raise McCabe's trade value last year. The consensus on here seems to be he is a good second pair guy on a good team. We need to know whether or not he wants to be here. If he wants out, then find a good return for him. A guy that wants out can kill a locker room, especially one this young and impressionable. - 333inthe3rd
If he wanted out we would have heard about it by now.

The Devils are trying to clear space to sign Pesce, instread of getting another Zaitsev, why don’t the Hawks try and sign Pesce? Even KD has said he is not looking for more trades for draft picks. - LAHawk
Sounds like a plan but have to think pesce would sign with a contender before the Hawks. But could offer more money. We will see what happens |

Hawks might be able to get someone better at #18 than Kakko, need more than that I would think. |

Does not work for me. Kakko is not top 6 caliber.
Of course if the Hawks could then flip the 30th with one of our seconds to move up in the first round it might be interesting. |

18 is far more valuable than Kakko is.

Kyle sleeping again but who the heck is Texier? - rpeters01
He's been around for a while. Swiss, I think. He had some family or health problems and spent some time in Europe the last couple of years dealing with that.

I hope they do LA, wouldn't mind Pesce in a Blackhawks sweater |

Alex Nylander scored 11 goals in 28 games for Columbus last year. Think the Hawks. Could get him for the rights to Sam Lafferty?

Nope. Hawks already have an underachieving European forward.

Tomorrow I’d like to see the Hawks draft Sam O’Reilly. He could be a solid 2nd or 3rd line centre for Chicago in the future. - DarthKane
The Pittsburgh native might be gone at #44... |

A 3rd? Shouldn't NJ be giving us something to take him? Walman and a 2nd to SJ for Detroit future considerations - BetweenTheDots

Wow I guess you guys think Kakko 23,6' 3" 199, a RFA, restricted free agent is DONE, because even though you can bridge him, you think there will be a prospect with higher ceiling there for the Hawks at #18? |

I don’t know Wiz, when I read the Rags board many mention how slow he is, not KD’s narrative. |

Glad you asked this cuz I forgot Texier, drafted rd 2 in 2017, was drafted outa France!! His draft yr he played hockey in France!
He got top 6 looks with CLB but didn't stick. 6ft 1in 200 lbs with good speed. Looks like it's his hands/skill that keeps him from flourishing. https://www.capfriendly.c.../players/alexandre-texier

Count me in the Kakko corner. We know he'll work hard and keep his head down with good size and a lotta back class. He's thought of highly by the fancy stat crowd. ... I think he's shown he's a legit 3rd line NHL player and that's his floor.

Interesting interview with Celebrini’s Dad. Doesn’t hurt that your old man is a Physical therapist, physiotherapy and head of sports medicine for the Golden State warriors. |

I don’t want to give up any first rounders for him, but Kakko wouldn’t have the bust stigma if he got any power play time. He’s sneakily becoming an outstanding defensive forward. |

Not at all but i won't give them the 18th pick until I'm on the board. You never know who will fall to you. |
