for a large wide body, Levshunov skating stride backward is really, really good and effortless.
For some reason I started flashing he was Doug Jarrett as I watched him back pedal.
I am gonna be happy with whichever of the three candidates they pick...
I don't think I am changing anything here:

I see Eiserman dropped to 14 on your list, he seems to be anywhere from 11 - 18 on other lists. At one point he was the consensus number 2. What the hell happened to his stock? |

I looked through Mikheyev's game log from this past season. He scored 10 goals in the first 28 games, and only one more the rest of the way, that one happening in March. What was going on there? - 333inthe3rd
Could be similar to Kuzmenko. Didn't mesh well with Tocchet and once moved his play picked up. He's said to be one of the better skaters in the league and has good defensive metrics.
I'm starting to agree more with Dots (I think it was you) who said that VAN is likely to fall off next year. They have some really good players, but I think they're losing a good amount of depth. I'll jump on the "VAN will be the next NJ Devils". |

This might mean nothing more than house-keeping prior to July 1st, but:
It appears the rumour mill is heating up on a potential Jacob Trouba trade.
Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports the New York Rangers have asked Trouba's camp for the defenceman's 15-team no-trade list ahead of July 1. Trouba currently owns a full no-move clause in his contract, but that will flip to the no-trade list on Monday. |

Demko might help any down slides.

2 things Wiz if the Blackhawks don't draft Demidov i believe they agree with you about his skating.
Second whoever they draft 2nd OA if Jiricek is still there at 18 i really believe they will scoop him up, and not look back.
Probably piss a lot of people off but you can't let talent like that fall past you because he got hurt.

Hall Bedard Kurashev Reichel D!ckinson Foligno AA Lafferty Mikheyev Donato and probably Nazar and Slaggert
Plus hopefully a top 6 center or winger
Jones, Murphy, Vlasic, probably Kaiser, and KK and one of Allan, Phillips, EDM, Roos
Plus hopefully a solid veteran
Mrazek and Soderblom or veteran back up.
I would not be surprised to see our #18, or an 2nd, and a combination of Reichel, AA, one of the young defenders, and a future 2nd used in a trade. |

He was coming off ACL surgery in January 2023. I was thinking maybe there were some complications with that as the year went on. Doesn't really jibe with the hot start though.
At 18 months he should be past it. Maybe he can do something better this year.

Wonder if they might have a couple of deals more or less in place when on the clock at #18. If one of their guys is there, they make the pick, otherwise, if they are all gone, use it in a trade.

I saw the clip of him keeping up with McDavid stride for stride, but that was before his ACL injury. I'm sure Darth would know more, as he watches their games regularly.
Is VAN planning to sign Lindholm? They have a decent amount of money freed up for 6 roster spots now. Speaking of which, where are we all going for this info once CapFriendly goes offline? |

Sometimes there are lingering complications after such a surgery. I would favor my other knee after mine, and I developed tendinitis as a result of it. Mind you I didn't get to do the pro athlete rehab regimen, either. |

Over thinking and the new climbers who have rainbows and unicorns surrounding them.
USA staff may have added to the evaulation some residual comments on the kids reaction when they try coaching him?
I cannot see hgim falling to 18, and 14 where were my final limit to his drop.
Why?
I am a victum of other prognosticator's influence. |

It was, i just see teams get off to a good start, team gets confident and they go on a run. Philly is a great example they weren't out of the playoff hunt until like the last 5 to 10 games of the year because of their great start. |

Wherever he lands he’ll score goals. So long as he’s not a dressing room problem and he learns a basic two way game he will be very valuable. |

Thus far PuckPedia (which kinda sounds like a government watch list). It's ok but will take some getting used to and not as much functionality from what I've seen.
If I had to guess, VAN does not resign Lindholm unless they can get him for a song. They are apparently on the short list for Guentzel. |

Likely to be a crazy day. It's weird how last year, no one was looking to move their 1st rounder even with multiple, and this year it's like everyone is open for business.
I think the cap going up a notable amount also helps grease the skids a bit. I just hope I don't look back in a week or two and feel the same way I did last year at the same time. The Perry signing sunk me last time. |

Believe me, it has been on my mind ever since the sale to the Washington Capitals as their private info garb.
The persons who are selling it CAN reproduce a facsimile that is internet/people friendly with a different look, becasue the info is public, right?
I use their site info so much too.
You have to think there will be a replacement one, it just is really the caps feeling buying it is easier than getting someone (programmers) to attempt to reproduce one of their own.
I know that story well.
With DraftSite, it took years to set up a really user friendly way for me to work. When Lines bought the site (they told me to boost tarffic from Canada with my hockey mock), instead of leaving it as it was linking it to their exisiting stuff, they chose to find progarmmers to ATTEMPT to copy it.
Since they had no clue to the intentions with wihich it was set up to fucntion must have been unclear, and I had no input. So many things don't work the way the original site meant them to.
Riight know, they were ablke to cahnge the name of Arizona for ME inside the workings, but NOT on the outside.
The compensatory pick threw ever change OFF, while in the origuial any of you could have done it.
Hell, I asked if they could put the list of NHL teams in alphabetical and eliminating names in THAT "NHL" list like Atlanti Mytishchi, PAL Junior islanders, Twin City thinder, and Izhevsk Izhstal...I am unable to rid myself of these misatkes handed to me as NHLers...
So many things simply are not simple thatt where, and there other sports draft have no caretakers, because they simply cannot find patient imputers who will put up with the shoddy rebuild like I have.

anytime a poor scoring NHL team can add help from a player who argues to be a true NHL player for nothing it is a win.
And a 2027 2nd rd. pick for a 2027 4th rd. pick, cap gave us a pick and player.
No one can say they paid too. much for him.
