Like trading Sergachev? So you trade for 35 year old McDonaugh and trade away a soon to be 27 year old? Make it make sense, it's great he was able to put the final pieces together to win 2 cups in a row, but holy poop his moves to me the last couple of years have been terrible. - BetweenTheDots
I don't get that especially with how better they looked when the big Russian came back but what do I know. Maybe theyre thinking they have a 2 or 3 year window and then it's gonna be retool time?
Maybe they figure another 2 or 3 year downturn and want to build around Geekie while there is still a veteran or two with something left in the tank. |

Wiz, Aside from the fact they're both French-Canadians, any comparison between Danault and Boisvert? - boilermaker100
Danault was Mr everything at Drummondville and they knew that besides his PK, PP, and defense, the offense was there.
This kid Boisvert is a id who comes off the bench looking to explode on the opposition in many ways. His shot is already high end, and he has a chancd to continue making that his bread n butter. He also will protect any team mate by dropping the gloves against anybody, but he isn't going out of his way to fight.
He is like a wrecking ball when he goes in. He is very well balanced but needs to add to his skatin g improving mnay parts, where Danault had no difficulty in that area from te get go. |

If the Hawks move on from all the unqualified RFAs I won’t lose any sleep over it. It would have been nice to re-sign Anderson, but Kyle can easily find an equivalent level replacement. - DarthKane
Same thing with Lafferty. If someone wants to commit more than a year to him, have at it.
KD can still sign any of those guys without having to deal with Arb rights. I highly doubt people will be clamoring or the services of Anderson, Lafferty or Raddysh |

Per Frank Seravalli:
Sources say #GoBolts have agreed to terms on a contract with Jake Guentzel after a productive Sunday.
Details have been hard to come by as Tampa has other moving parts, and info might not come out until tomorrow. - DarthKane
Expect a trade or buyout possibly. |

I’ve also seen that the Bolts are trying to re-sign Hedman too.
Maybe Tampa needs us to take Cirelli off their hands. 🤣 |

Maybe that’s why KD didn’t qualify Raddysh, he’s targeting Katchouk. Makes sense. - DarthKane
The good season by Raddysh a year ago might have made his arbitration too big a risk?

Hey Bill,
I have been keen on the idea to draft develop a kid with descent ability who also skates well and can be a real agitator. It is a bonus if he is a descent fighter and if he is a larger size kid. There are kids of this ilk usually are third and fourth line material but one prospect I really like and have been following- even made mention a few times past couple months or so - 27th overall L ‘Heroux who had a good season for Milwaukee AHL and appears on the cussing the Nashville roster
This kid had at least two or more two goal - even a hat trick - in the AHL playoffs
What do you think is this kid’s future and do you see anyone just like him who could play say L2 amount our prospects |

Nick Robertson have informed the Leafs that he doesn’t plan on re-signing with them and ants a trade. Depending how KD’s summer goes Nick Robertson could be worth a shot. |

Can't wait for Boisvert to hit 210# and watch him go into the corners and park in front of the net. |

He’s got some skill, he works hard but he seems to get injured allot. That said I’d like to see him in Chicago. |

Isn't Taylor Hall already on the team? Sure would be nice to get more than 10 games out of him this season. |

Always seems to be injured, is small, and I heard he would like to play for a team out west closer to home (SoCal). Unless it was for 3rd or 4th round I would pass.

This kid put up really good numbers in junior and he’s only 22. If the cost to acquire him isn’t much it may be a good pick up and who knows maybe he’ll beat the injury thing?
Here are some reviews on him “ He’s extremely hard on the forecheck, relentless in puck pursuit, and a big-time trash talker”. “ is an offensive dynamo, with a very high level of individual skill. His feet are quick and constantly in motion, and his hands can keep”. “ shifty player whose puck skills and smarts make up for his smaller frame”. |

Initially Tocchet liked Lafferty. And then he pressboxed him.
A whole bunch of guys around the league are going to be looking for PTOs come September. No sense tying up a 50 man roster with players who will never make it or just use up a spot at the bottom of a bad team NHL roster. And the Hawks are a bad team, a very bad one. |

Have the injuries kept him out of the TOR...just hasn't been a spot...something else? |

He was miscast in Toronto because he was put on the fourth line with a couple of plugs. He could do some checking but that’s not his forte. He’s been in and out of the Leaf lineup because of injuries, press box and dropped to the minors. With his forechecking abilities, his speed and scoring touch he may shine in the top six. And if the Hawks get him cheap and he can have a good season and there’s no fit in two years they can move him on. I don’t really see a downside so long as they aren’t giving up much. |

Hey Jim!
It sounds like your happy with a bigger rugged centre than tge Smurfs.
When Boisvert comes off the bench he is looking to make contact with the idea of getting pucks. North dakota is gonna help his slumped over stride, and he is going get stronger so he can continue being that take no prisoner centre, but I don't think you are going to see him taking pims in his first NHL games, becasue he knows that is not how you win. His shot is decent, and that is his best attribute. He only fought when he saw teams taking liberties.
I just listened to the interviews and AJ Spellacy says his favorite NHLer is Tom Wilson...he and his 53 pims last year might be a candidte for agitator.

I think you are being generous in your evaluation of Robertson.
He has been hanging around Toronto for 5 years and has played 87 NHL games. Why? - sure an injury history but the Leafs just have other better forwards than him. He creates some offence but has no clue defending and he is small. Guys like him need to be a Brendan Gallagher or Cam Atkinson to make and stay in the NHL.
I would give up nothing to the Leafs to acquire him. |
