Hope hes a comparable to get Domi's value down.

Yes, Domi can play higher up in the lineup and produce more points.

But also, leaves room to go well this guy got 3.25 to be an energy generator and support his teammates, and scored twice as many goals as you Max. If he's worth 3.25 x 4, 4 mil x 5 years is a very fair deal for you.

Perron will cost IMO 4.5~5M per on 2 or 4 year deal
then you add 3 yrs @ 3M cap hit for Brossoit
then you add 5.25M cap hit for 4 yrs for Tanev

For me Domi was great when MM was out and he got to play on the wing with 34. Otherwise he was a tough fit.

Spend 10-11M on a pair of Dmen.
Spend 2-3M on a goalie.

You might have about $5M to spend on a 2C like Stephenson? Domi might be my back up plan but even then it's 2 or 3 yrs at 3.5M or I take a pass.

I am fine with Tanev if they give him term.

They can make his contract go away in the last year or 2 if they want.

Pesce is meh...basically a carbon copy of Brodie when they signed him.

I want more Tanev style D to add to this group.

I also want Matt Roy but will have to overpay like Pesce.

I think they are playing hard ball.

They know Domi wants to stay...Don't see another team giving him much more than 4x4M.

Skinner is a little younger, i could see him wanted 4m per.

I just think they have a few other players that they will prioritize that could be cheaper.

Avoid tanev, go after roy or pesce imo.
If they are overpaying will 3.5 - 4m per than they need a cheaper back up....maybe two.
