Ya man - just in general you know. Cap made hockey not as fun in my opinion. I get the parody (sp?) and all that eh - but it’s just so damn hard to shake it up and there is so much more caution with everything. Also so bloody tired of hearing about term/cap hit/age/cap percentage and all that when evaluating. I completely understand that’s the name of the game now on building a team for sure - just don’t like it. I like the teams just chucking around cash and seeing super teams play each other. Like a Wings/Rangers game was like a HOF game back in the day ha

It is so funny because as fans we watch a game or two and then get really pissed off when our guy isn't taken. Then totally rip our picks when later ones work out better. Draft picks are such a lottery for the most part.

Really happy with Demidov, can't believe he fell to 5.

Hage is a great pick too, the fact he was a Habs fan growing up is icing on the cake.

For sure it is. It's the hindsight experts that make me laugh.

You said you watched the Gens this year? What are your thoughts on Danforth. He was very noticeable in the one series.

Sennecke is obviously on another level, but Danforth was similar in that he also got a lot better as the season went on (can probably be said for most of the Gens, really). Even if the points didn't reflect it late in the season.

I wouldn't say he was one of the main guys, but he was solid on their playoff run.
