Listed at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Brenden Dillon is an effective, affordable No. 4/5 defenseman for a fraction of the cost. The hard-nosed 33-year-old veteran offers throwback qualities with his physicality (ranked 12th in the NHL for hits this season) and willingness to stick up for teammates, while still providing fringe top-four value.
Dillon ranked No. 4 among Jets defensemen in ice time this season, averaging nearly 19 minutes per game. He generated strong defensive numbers in terms of suppressing shots and scoring chances while also eating the second-most PK minutes of all Jets defenders.
this is who Tre should target with a 2 yr x 3 mil contract. |

It’s almost like the problem who are professional management staff and professional scouting staff might know more than the GM’s on HB!

I love the draft pundits who are rating teams on their draft. “Well I had player X at 49 and they picked him at 43. That’s an F.” |

No chance in hell Stammer will be in TB now.
I wonder if the leafs can do what they are doing with Tanev and give him term.
Both aren’t 35+ contracts. Load both up on SB.
Take advantage of the cap for once. - Santo_44
Should also be doing the exact same thing for Tavares' next contract. Give him the fullest term to bring the AAV down. |

Great.
It only took him 3 months this year to start playing well.
Was garbage most of last year. The king of hitting into a double play.
Good defensively though.
Nice to see him being useful at the plate. - Fakepartofme
Hmm he was real bad in April and his overall numbers look decent, soooooo..... He has been good most of the past 2 months.
