Ya but does Ehlers want to be here?
If Ehlers even hesitates Adams hangs up. |

Well it doesn’t seem like he wants to sign an extension… so he may want to be here, but not really be here… this confuses Adams. Itn not like he can trade him if he decides he doesn’t really wanna be here…. Oh… wait |

He’s okay with coming and wants to play it out.
Adams isn’t even giving him a chance to experience the team.
It’s come now and sign immediately or you hate buffalo
Still a chance Adams okays it |

Sabres GM Kevyn Adams said he's open to still adding someone who can play in the top six, but said, "I really like where our group is at right now. I like it a lot ... We're a much better team today than we were a couple of days ago."

We got worse today. Unless the loss of gargleson really helps. Did any team in the east have a worse day? |

When I would play vs friend, we couldn’t play with the Sabres. Canucks were one of my go tos. Ronning, Bure, one of the Courtnalls, Lumme and Lidster. McLean in net Great team in that game. Don’t think there was fighting in 94. |

Seems we have a brand new losing core just ready to start the cycle all over again, wonder how long Dahlin sticks around |

I'm dumbfounded.
Yesterday was the best this franchise is capable of.
Sad, so very sad.
Great "fireworks" display.
Hopes and Dreams GM shows he is wearing no clothes.
It truly is embarrassing to be a fan of this franchise.
Got a Text from Seymore...he hates this organization too |

My thoughts on the past 4 days.
Their 4th line got exponentially better. Faster, much more physical, much harder to play against and they all forecheck like animals. Grade: A+
They failed at putting a decent third line together. Where's the 3C? Krebs and his 4 goals? Grade: F
Zucker is a fine signing. For the third line. Speed, decent skill, better defensively than Skinner. Playing him in your top 6 means another season that ends in April. Grade: F
Who's going to win a faceoff?
What happens if/when one of your top 6 gets hurt?
5 of their bottom 6 players would be fourth liners on every other team in the league, and we're led to believe that this is OK.
Adams is worried about having enough room to sign the "next group of guys" that need extensions and raises, but almost every guy he signed today is on a one year deal.
He's the GM of a National Hockey League team and it's his job to make this team better. It's his job to not only "try" (if I hear that (frank)ing word one more time...) but to CLOSE THE DEAL ON TRADES!
You bought Skinner out for what, exactly? What was the point? You certainly didn't spend his cap savings on a bonafide top 6 winger.
If this was a "good day", I'd hate to see a bad one. This was the first day in many years where I actually felt disgusted to be a Sabres fan.
His head should ROLL for this. And if he thinks the fans are buying this, then he truly IS an idiot.
Poor Lindy. |

Would be hysterical if Lindy were to reconsider after witnessing this dud of a fireworks..."Well Kevo, that was a complete sh!show, I cannot let your incompetence degrade my hard earned stellar reputation. I have notified Terry that if he doesn't fire you and name me as President of Hockey Operations, well I gave him notice effective in 24 hours, good luck sir".

From the Athletic...I think Kevyn contributed to this...
"We can’t move this guy during the season because it’s too complicated, but we’ll do it at the draft. We can’t move this guy at the draft because everyone’s waiting to see what’s available in free agency, but we’ll do it once players start coming off the board on UFA day. We can’t move him after free agency because nobody has cap space now, but something will shake free once camps start. We can’t move him at camp because everyone else is healthy and likes their team, but just you wait until we get into the season…"
And then there is this analysis...
As for Kevyn Adams and the Sabres, they at least made a few signings. But when Jason Zucker is the big name, you have to wonder if they’re even any better once you factor in the Jeff Skinner buyout. Plenty of Sabres fans are losing patience with Adams, and so far anyone counting on the other shoe to drop is still waiting. |
