Are you sure? Pretty sure the Flyers parade was mostly made up of pilgrims and native Americans, I think I even saw them bring the cup on the Mayflower. |

It’s depth. Who cares? Yeah, they should play the kids over him and they won’t. Debating and going crazy over it is pointless and tiresome. The Flyers disagree with the fans on this and they make the decision. |

I am 100% ok with the Johnson signing. Means Risto won't be ready for the season and it blocks talent and other free agents from coming in.
Flyers goal song should be "Drop like it's hot [poop]"

That is a pretty decent crop there, but that's not helping them the next couple years. They look horrible, SJ horrible. - Glak18
Agreed haha, but the draft was a good start for them. |

You forgot a few.
Sign Seeler at 30 for 4 years.
Tried to sign Sean Walker before they moved him.
Why do you assume KJ is # 8?
As far as Buium….Gostisbehere? Did anyone ever say Ghost was an above average elite skater? the Flyers “reached for Lachanco….I’m not sure it’s being disputed except by the Local media and guys like you. A team rebuilding does not “reach” in the 1rst round. They draft kids like Buium.
After watching how they treated this years 1rst round how can anyone have confidence in this management team with three picks next year….guys on here we’re hoping for the Flyers not to make the playoffs this year so they could get a better pick? Then he took a guy they could have got had they made the playoffs anyways?lol.
The organization is selling Briere as this young, smart executive…I see a guy who hasn’t accomplished zilch and has made a bunch of questionable decisions that will (frank) this team going forward….they talk that it’s a rebuild but they haven’t made any move that say rebuild except the ones they were forced into. - landros 2
The problem I have with your assessment is you are basing it all on the elite prospects rankings, which is nothing more than fantasy. Beckett-Sennecke was ranked 13th and he went at 3. Buium was ranked 4th and he went 12th. Luchenko was ranked 20th and he went 13th. Is this really a reach? I think not! Would Luchenko been there if the Flyers were picking 17th? I don't know and niether do you. There is eveidence that Luchenko would have been gone before 20 if the Flyers did not select him. The Flyers wanted a center and they took the center they believed was the best option given they could not trade up, its really that simple.
As far as Briere, you are right, he has done squat so far. I don't know yet if he is a smart executive or not. I am just not going to come on here and bash Briere when the off season has just started, and he has done some good things already, like accumulating 6 picks in the frst two rounds of the next draft - something rebuilding teams do.
I presume Eric Johnson is there for depth and to hepl the younger players adapt to the NHL. Signing him actually gives me encouragement that more young players will be on defense for the Flyers this season.

@bill - I see there is no Kosolov on the Development Camp roster. Is this related to the rumors about wanting to go back home? |

Looks like Anaheim is playing it cap smart. 8 million below the floor and no one beside LaCombe to sign. I bet they are waiting for other teams to need to dump salary and get the best bang for the buck for it. |

Maybe I'm alone. but if the Flyers 2025-26 team looks like this I am ok with it. I know it is wishful thinking and I'm sure changes will be made (good or bad) that I can't predict now.
Hypothetically the Flyers win the lottery and draft Hagens, it doesn't turn them into a contender or even I think a consistent playoff team right now, but I feel the team looks much better, especially if they are smart with the cap. Lot's of cap space with few to sign if they just ride it out.

Get value assets from trades, including the rest of the assets from 2025 draft and they could stockpile for the future to add pieces little by little.

I read he had to go back as his tourist visa expired. I am guessing he will get a new visa to stay for the season.
