Unless the rangers trade first round picks they just don’t have the trade assets to make the upgrades we want. And if Trouba is moved who will they find on the free agent market to replace him now? It’s still early but just don’t love at all what happened today

Still time to dump Trouba and trade for Draisaitl. Only player who will make me less pessimistic and actually invest time in watching this team next season

All seems like conjecture, to me.

He absolutely can return and to think he can’t is ridiculous. Trouba has 8m reasons and a boat load of pride as a professional athlete.

There’s just no way he’s gonna be the rw on that line. If that’s the case come opening night i will be pissed. My guess/hope is that kakko is traded and smith slots in on the 3rd

After all is said and done..it's a business. I'm sure after a day or 2, Trouba came to grips with it, and I'm sure his no trade list was strategic as well. If he stays he will do his best to be best player he can be...as long as Drury was upfront and honest

Of course he can actually come back since his contract permits. But does he still want too? Maybe bc of his wife’s residency and he likes the players. Sometimes for certain players that may not be enough if they feel unwanted from the org

One plays defense and drives offense the other shoots and creates a bit for himself but plays no defense. The latter also probably gets more than 1 year
