I don’t think the locker room would be an issue at all. He’s respected by his teammates

Drury just throws darts at the board without a real plan. He’s demolished our draft capital, made uninspiring moves in doing so, Kane Roslovic Wennberg Smith Copp etc etc almost as a, “look I did something” rather than having an actual plan.

The year we got Copp we weren’t ready to compete. It was clear as day and don’t start the whole but we made it to the ECF. We played backup goalies getting extremely lucky the entire way.

Anyone with a brain could see Kane wasn’t what we needed last year, even more so after we got Tarasenko.

Roslovic and Wennberg were the leftovers and not moves that put you over the top and Smith is the same. He panicked, felt like he had to do something, so he paid a 2nd and 5th for a guy that just got traded elsewhere for a 3rd.

He’s done nothing to improve the future of this team and is more worried about his own future he doesn’t care about mortgaging the Rangers.

Trading Shesty was in regards to his reported 12.9 million AAV. If that’s the case, and obviously we don’t know for sure, but if it is, he should be traded. I’d be just fine with a 1st 2nd and Colton for a guy asked 12.9 million next year.

Part of that was also that NSH is looking to trade Askorov, but let’s not let facts get in the way.

EDM is the perfect fit for him. Just go score goals. Don’t worry about anything else, just put the puck in the net.
