I see one more deal for the Leafs, they did most of their heavy lifting. A winger that can fit in the top six. A place holder until Cowan is ready. This deal will happen later IMO.

Holy (frank), there really is nothing better for horrible defensemen that can do nothing but throw a hit or two, than playing a half season for the Leafs.

This contract and Edmundson's deals are a joke.

The leafs are a good team and they just got better. That combined with a new coach and I like our chances.

I'll be honest, with everything the team has done/not done, I really don't understand how anyone can zone in on the goaltending to harp about.

It's pretty easily, to me at least, the best worked on part of the lineup.

Signed Woll to a very good deal, that doesn't even kick in until the season after the coming one. Signed a huge (frank)er with great numbers to be a backup/1B, and re-signed a guy (to league minimum) who is (has been) a legit starter in the league, when healthy.

That's a real tidy bit of business, far as I'm concerned.

Totally agree with this.

I would complain more about OEL or not getting Zadorov or Lily's deal or the fact that Marner is still here than the G moves.

I'm happy with the goalies for the first time in years.

Move Lily, Robertson and Marner for a 2C or 2LW and 3C and 4/5RHD and you could end up with an awesomely re-tooled roster.
