Hakanpaa is still out there. If they can move McCabe and give Hakanpaa 2.5 AAV, that'd would nicely.

Tierney, Perry and Clutterbuck would make a rough 4th line and you can ship out Kampf, Jarnkrok and Reaves.

I agree but sign and trades don't happen in the NHL very often, if ever. If Treliving signed him, it's because he stupidly believes he's good enough to keep. Just like he thinks Tanev is a top pair D worthy of a no movement clause and a 6 year deal at 34 years old.

Iron Hook is a very good and versatile player. NO way Id want to move him. Kampf can be replaced by Dewar at C

He's always been a nice guy with a great attitude so if there's somebody who can have a comeback, it's probably him.

You just can't pay him or play him like a starter because he never will be one.

I can see giving Cowan a look-see, similar to what they did last season with Minten.

The way he was talking in interview, doesn't sound like it.

I hope the Leafs tell him too bad. Last coach was a (frank)ing clown, and new guy will slot you properly. So put him where I had Cowan slotted.

I can see Topi getting a chance during the season if there's an injury.

Jarnkrok was decent but he doesn't move the needle enough when the games get rough, tough and important. The cap space he eats up could literally buy you an entire 4th line with way more bite.

I'd rather have Perry, Clutterbuck and Tierney as the Leafs 4th line than have Jarnkrok was a 3rd line winger for the same cap space.
