Weekes and Biron heaping praise on the leafs for their defensive upgrades. Those two guys never say anything good about the Leafs.

Kampf and Jarnkrok definitely have to go. So does Reaves though.

I've no problem whatsoever with Reaves playing 4th line/13th forward.

Jarnkrok was decent but he doesn't move the needle enough when the games get rough, tough and important. The cap space he eats up could literally buy you an entire 4th line with way more bite.

I'd rather have Perry, Clutterbuck and Tierney as the Leafs 4th line than have Jarnkrok was a 3rd line winger for the same cap space.

Absolutely not. He was horrid. Trash signing, trash results. He simply can't play hockey well enough to justify his spot or his cap hit.

If you want to put a Rempe in the line-up, a young big goon, go ahead. But that's a young man's role. Reaves has been washed since Vegas dumped him.

No, they won’t. They’re the defensive forwards so unless they’re replaced with the exact same type of player don’t expect any movement.

Iron Hook is a very good and versatile player. NO way Id want to move him. Kampf can be replaced by Dewar at C

You're splitting hairs because he makes 2.1 AAV. If you dump Reaves off the 4th line, that's 3.4 AAV. Kampf makes 2.4 AAV. That's 5.8 AAV total that you could be spending 2.325 AAV instead on.

Pretty low bar but I'm well aware there's nothing that can be said that won't result in you bending goal posts to fit your non point and proceeding to whine about it for 17 pages.

Marner had 1 goal and 2 assists these playoffs. He went two literal entire playoffs without a single (frank)ing goal.

If you can't get past Jarnkrok taking up 2 million in cap space but are fine with Marner sucking up 10.9 for that, you're just proving the point.
