I hope they create some space. Some overpayments to play in the bowels of the lineup in Kampf and Liljegren, could be real useful elsewhere.

Don't need to give Liljegren runway to hit a ceiling he may never find with both Rielly and OEL here for the next 4 years.

Not really . Saying they wouldn't be hard to trade isn't talking good about them and saying I want them gone isn't talking bad about them, either.

I want them gone because the team needs to change. I like Jarnkrok and he's paid accordingly, but he hasn't done poop for us in the playoffs.

Kampf is good defensively, but makes too much for our 4th line. Maybe another team likes him for 3C.

There's some RFA's to come off there, Dewar alone likely takes a bit more than that. So it's a wash at best.

He's always been a 3rd pairing D. It's what he is.

I wanted him for the Leafs 3rd pairing, and him going to a division rival sucks, but that's still a lot to give a 3rd pairing guy.

But maybe they play him higher up the lineup. Leafs are likely to do the same with OEL.

Taken out of one game, because the coach was a (frank)ing idiot. Leafs just so happened to play like absolute dog poop in that game, and he was back in the lineup the next game. Was recovering from a high ankle sprain.
