SO in other words the 3 teams brought in what they needed to win..Where as pittsburgh (i'll say it for you) got smaller weaker and absolutely no goal scoring and no bottom 6 to help the "Core". Did they? NO.

YES...Bank on this, anyother GM brought in instead dubas would have fired sullivan. If they were in rebuild mode they would have traded what's left of the core players and NOT brought in this overpaid EK and that 10 mil for 3 years. Rather have carter back at 3 mil for 3 years for a rebuild. No further about this is needed.

Although I don’t think the Lightning necessarily improved, I think they extended their “window” by replacing Guentzel with Stamkos. They still have some cap space to do something. I’m assuming at the deadline they’ll do their thing and grab a big name

Four aging Superstars/ex Superstars. Minimal depth around them. Suspect goaltending. Average defense. Below average prospects.
The next time the penguins will be relevant, it will be 2030.

I just realized they hired Byslma to the Kraken. Is he any good? I always thought he was kind of poop but he never coached the leafs so I wouldn't really know.

Didn't get the email, but Pens said it was a mistake by someone is sales apparently. Not true.

Can't take it away from him, but he fell into the absolute perfect situation to win the cup. Pens waisted way too many years on him after it. Kind of like the same situation now, but Sullivan is a legit NHL coach.

The only difference between Bylsma and Sullivan is that Sully 24/7 rides Sid's jock and kisses his ass. Like an uncomfortable amount. But good for him it has helped him maintain a job through some serious leadership failures.

They both walked into teams needing a change in approach, had immediate success and then did F all.

I would actually prefer to have Bylsma coaching us this season than Sullivan.
