I went into his style as a player and where he might fit in the lineup about five months ago on CHN. At the time, I suggested Kakko for a 50% retained Lindholm straight up. Glad Conny is at the wheel and not me!

You nailed it on the head in my opinion. Kuzmenko and Panarin in New York for a season would be a win for everybody. The Flames could probably ask for them to add if Kuzmenko is killing it on the Calgary powerplay for a couple months.
