Not sure you can really say he's "holding them hostage". His wife has a full time residency she needs to complete to be a doctor and they have a young baby. If he's playing in another city it becomes incredibly difficult to care for the child and his wife. Even with the financial means to pay for full-time child care.

I would say going into next year the roster might be slightly better to start the year. No where they need to be yet. I just don’t expect panarin to have another 120 point year. Tro might dip as well. Hoping bounce back from zib and continued Laf progression.

It’s going to be important for Berard Othmann Edstom making a leap. And will they trade someone who is a net negative to add a productive player.

Smith is better than both those players by more than goodrow may be better than carrick and Also will play a lot more. Maybe edstrom or someone else forces carrick to the press box. I think we’re better than before, but not enough to make a huge difference.. yet
