Yeah it's not great. Last I saw he was still in a neck brace and doctors still weren't sure what's even wrong.

Buying out Trouba will save 4 million but his replacement will cost at least 2.5 to 3. That will leave 1.5 for what? 4th liner? KK is a 3rd liner here, he isnt going to bring anything of value back.

I think his thought process is because of exactly that, it may help to elevate the line of Kreider and Mika.

But I dont know how I feel about Kakko, honestly, Kakko has to do something to earn a spot on the 2nd line, Id probably have Smith there.
