The same way we got Laffy going last year is the way we need to get kakko going this year -put him with bread - Greschnergy#4
I don't know man, it's not like Kakko hasn't played with Panarin at times over the last 5 years
when the season ended and the exit interviews were going on it sure seemed like Kakko was gonna be moved this summer, still feels possible to me

I would leave Laffy on the second line. He is coming into his own and I think it will be stunted with Mika and Kreids - Michael NC
Gotta try something to get Mika and CK20 going 5v5 and hopefully Panarin can get KK going. |

What’s amazing that they play so well together when they’re four on five |

yeah, I don't know though, I think kakko is gonna have a hard time keeping Othmann and/or Berard from taking his job if he's still on roster
one thing I will say for Kakko is that when he had that injury mid year that coincided with worst Rangers stretch of the year, their record was great with him in lineup
but that 1 goal and 1 assist in 15 playoff games was such a killer when they desperately needed some more scoring

I keep thinking about how many thought Laf was slow and it was just his poor decision making. Kakko could do the same. |

if Kakko is still here, I m certainly going to be rooting for him to do the same, good thing is he's still a bargain price for another year

I dont know why.
As a first line center you have to be able to create chances and produce.
Maybe he cuts his hair and changes things up!! LOL |

Also: today is the deadline for eligible players to file for arbitration
For the Rangers, that's Ryan Lindgren
That would also represent NYR getting a 2nd buyout window... just saying

I don't know what the left side of this blue line is if they don't have Lindgren

Could’ve been:
Chychrun
Miller
Jones
Cheap veteran UFA |

I'm not really that big of a Chychrun guy, I'd rather go with Lindgren over him, because I know if Fox is 100% healthy and playing with Lindgren, Fox plays Norris trophy hockey
people don't want to sign Lindgren long term because of fear he will break down eventually, which i understand, but I fail to see how Chychrun who is a UFA in one year with terrible injury history is a better avenue

If the Sens traded Chychrun for Jensen and a third, makes you wonder if they'd have done Chychrun for Lindgren straight up. Maybe we would have had to add a fifth or something.
I'm kind of sick of this "Fox can only play good with Lindgren in the lineup" narrative, which makes the "Lindgren can't stay healthy ever, oh WOW he's back already!" narrative super annoying and feel so consequential for our chances. Rip off the band-aid, IMO. Time to move on from Lindy. |

Same age, much larger, puck mover, inexpensive next season. Both have injury concerns |

are you guys forgetting Chychrun's career of being hurt all the time?

None of this matters because we didn’t trade for chychrun but lindgren has narrowly escaped catastrophic injury too many times for my liking. Its gonna happen |

look I can understand the argument against signing Lindgren long term and looking to trade him, but I dont understand not being concerned about Chychrun's injury history if that was your focus lol |

When you consider what Zadorov got from Boston, I would have threw an offer at him and then traded Lindgren's rights for picks or as apart of a larger package for a RW. The QO for Lindgren, I believe, is 4.4m and I wouldnt be surprised if the Rangers didnt want to give him more than 4m. |

Sure I just think the juice is worth the risk with chychrun if all it takes is a 3rd and nick Jensen because he is that much better than lindgren. Lindgren is more lovable than he is good at hockey. |
